A full website redesign for a Connecticut math and test-prep academy — benchmarked against its strongest competitor, built to land ahead of it.

Overview
Ravi’s Academy is a math and test-prep academy in Orange, Connecticut, built by Ravi — a founder who has been tutoring with genuine passion since coaching his first student in 2008, and whose team has since guided thousands of students through the SAT, ACT, and beyond. Ravi came to us to rebrand the academy’s web presence, with a clear benchmark: a competitor whose site was setting the standard. We redesigned ravisacademy.com to clear that bar — and land well ahead of it.
Working closely with Ravi, one thing was obvious from the first conversation: the academy’s story was already remarkable — thousands of successful students, a median SAT score of 1460, a teaching philosophy built on targeted practice instead of blind repetition. The old web presence just wasn’t telling it. This wasn’t a content problem; it was a design problem.
Ravi named a specific competitor as the benchmark — not to copy, but to beat. The brief became simple to say and demanding to execute: make Ravi’s Academy look the way it actually performs. That meant a site that leads with results, makes the course catalog effortless to navigate for both students and parents, and carries the warmth of a founder-led academy rather than the coldness of a test-prep mill.
Results first. The academy’s numbers are its strongest sales argument, so the design puts them center stage — “We let our results speak” — with median scores, score-distribution rings, and average score boosts presented as a visual dashboard rather than buried copy.
A clear path to the right course. The four program lines — SAT®/PSAT®, ACT®, Academic Coaching, and College Admissions — sit in a persistent finder bar right under the hero, so every visitor is one click from the course that fits.
The founder’s story, up front. “Read Ravi’s story” lives beside the primary call to action, because in a founder-led academy, trust in the person is trust in the program. Student success cards — real names, real universities — rotate right in the hero.
One confident, optimistic identity. A blue-and-orange system with playful gradients, rounded cards, and grid-paper texture: professional enough for parents comparing options, friendly enough for the students who actually have to show up to class. The site also surfaces the academy’s student and parent portal, completing a web presence that works as hard as the tutoring does.

The site is live at ravisacademy.com — a web presence that finally matches the academy’s results, and one that set a new benchmark instead of chasing one.
